Comments about Ilford Ilfobrom Galerie Fiber-Based Paper (11 x 14", Grade 3, 50 Sheets, Glossy):
I had always used the Ilford variable contrast fiber paper and I wanted something different for some female figure photography I did in Rio de Janeiro. This paper is amazing. It has a little less contrast than the regular ilford glossy variable contrast paper paired with a # 3 filter. The graded 3 paper is far superior for the midtones and much to my surprise the prints have a warmer tonality than the regular neutral tone of the Ilford Variable Contrast paper, but less than their Warm tone paper, which is too warm for my taste. With the 3 graded paper you just get a nice warm feeling, great for artistic figure photography with the tropical jungle as a backdrop. It's not for every subject and of course it's more expensive.

Comments about Ilford Ilfobrom Galerie Fiber-Based Paper (11 x 14", Grade 3, 50 Sheets, Glossy):
This paper has just the right sheen of gloss, not too shiny, but not really matte or pearl. The tones are impeccable, the quality of this paper is very high. It works fantastically with selenium, the weight and feel of this paper is one of a true artwork. I hold this paper in highest regard and will continue to use it as long as i am able to.

I don't have anywhere near the darkroom time I would like so I have settled on a single standard -- Ilford Gallerie glossy DW and Inford Ultra Black developer. The results are a full range of contract and deep blacks.
