There simply isn't another tripod made that is so incredibly versatile. Twin camera mounting screws on the head allow ground level shooting that's only restricted by the size of the camera in use! One large lever locks and unlocks the legs for quick setup and takedown.
The Benbo 2 has a soaring height range all the way up to 101 inches-capable of standing out above a crowd or getting as low as a twig on a stream.

Best tripod I ever used. I do architectural photography, that's really good for that kind of jobs. Its little heavy if you need to carry.

Comments about Benbo Classic No. 2 Standard Tripod Kit:
This thing is so frustrating. The legs, knobs, and central tightener are so easy to move, you can tighten the low quality plastic knobs until they go no more, and then apply pressure to any part of the tripod and it moves, the legs get shorter the arm holding the camera will rotate with a little twist and the three legs will spread outward. It is simply low quality and a total pain to use. I wish I could return it, but can't.

Comments about Benbo Classic No. 2 Standard Tripod Kit:
My uncle uses this tripod for fairly large film cameras so supporting my D5000 with a kit lens was a piece of cake for this tripod. I find its great for static stuff, however, one could improvise with this tripod for sports action shoots with the large telescope being supported by the tripod and assuming a grip on the camera-lens duo as if you didn't have the tripod there. I like this tripod, the only thing I wish it had was an anti-gravity device so carrying it while hiking up a mountain wasn't so hard which is why it gets 4 stars. In a studio this is a nearly ideal tripod, in the field, one you grasp the controls it'll show you everything you've been missing out on while you were using a travel sized tripod. This is probably the most solid tripod I've ever encountered, I would say that you could probably run this over with a large pickup truck and all you would have to show for it is scratches on the enamel paint finish from gravel on the road. Another thing that you might want with this tripod in cold weather is a set of mechanix original golves, thin enough so you feel the buttons and textures of the dials almost as if you don't have gloves on, but yet thick enough to prevent your hand from freezing to the tripod in cold weather.

It is heavy, a little confusing to learn how to use. However, you can find a setting for any shot.

Comments about Benbo Classic No. 2 Standard Tripod Kit:
This tripod succeeds in getting very high in height. Overall the tripod is kind of low quality. The knobs used for each of the legs are plastic and are oddly shaped, not to mention difficult to get really tight, often moving when they shouldn't. Same goes for the central tightening handle, made of plastic and often as tight as I can get it, the tripod legs move when I move the tripod. All four of the tripods assets are attached to the central handle so it can be fairly awkward when you need to make adjustments.
The ball head has rather tiny little knobs that aren't very comfortable to my fingers - and I have small hands - and don't function in a way that makes leveling the camera very easy. I use a small camera too.
If I could've tried this tripod out first I wouldn't have purchased it.

Comments about Benbo Classic No. 2 Standard Tripod Kit:
I shoot a lot of Macro photography and this tripod is excellent for static shots. It is a little too bulky to carry in the field for candid type shots. Very sturdy and stable. I can attach my camera to this tripod without fear of it falling over. The only bad thing I can say is that it is rather heavy and bulky. Not a tripod I would recommend for a hiking trip.
