Comments about Ilford HP5 Plus 120 Black & White Print Film (ISO-400):
I really enjoy this film. I have used the 35mm version and it always yields great results. Even in low lighting I am able to produce good shots. It's a good film to have around all the time when you don't know what to expect.

The film worked just as it was supposed to! I used it for a cheap little Holga camera and the negatives worked well and the prints were of good quality from them!

Comments about Ilford HP5 Plus 120 Black & White Print Film (ISO-400):
Works just as good as all Ilford films. Had some problems with the camera synchronizing with the flash so I only have a few good images on each roll. But they are easy to print because the film is very forgiving.

Comments about Ilford HP5 Plus 120 Black & White Print Film (ISO-400):
I have shot black & white photography with Ilfod before and I have never had a problem with the film. Fast shipping. Negatives come out consistently and properly exposed. I shot two rolls that I had for over a year and the negatives came out great.

Just started shooting 120 film, shot HP5 on my 35mm camera and loved it. Love it still on my Bronica SQ-A. If you need a faster film definitely get this.

I use for for my own work and for the students in the art college where I teach. Consistent results in ID11 1:3 (still my favourite) & 5 min pre-soak brings out very good smooth tonal scale. Hard to beat for a conventional technology fast/medium film.

Comments about Ilford HP5 Plus 120 Black & White Print Film (ISO-400):
This film is great for street photography, okay for landscapes, and basically not appropriate for portraits. It has the capability of giving you a good tonal range, but more often than not appears incredibly harsh and has too much contrast (Not due to an error in developing). Ilford's delta series generally gives me better results; subtler grays, more pleasing grain, but in general I still prefer to use kodak.
Also, pushing/pulling this film is somewhat useless and not nearly as reliable as it should be nor as easy as it is with other types of film.

Comments about Ilford HP5 Plus 120 Black & White Print Film (ISO-400):
Love Ilford film. I was using Ilford 35mm film several years ago, and have just gotten back into film photography, with my new (old) medium format camera. So far I am loving the medium format film by ilford, works the same that I remember from the 35mm. I take a lot of outdoor shots, mostly in bright sun. You get a lot of good detail, and the developed film even scans well.
