For owners of the L2 TDM Plug-In, Waves offers an upgrade path to the full Masters TDM Bundle. Essentially, the purchaser gains the rest of the Masters Bundle at a greatly reduced price.
Waves has long been know for providing high class audio processors in bundles that cover most of the needs of musicians. A further category of tools from Waves is the Masters TDM Bundle for Digidesign's HD systems, which contains two innovative and quality plug-ins for precision mastering in addition to the L2 plug-in. It introduces Linear Phrase processing and provides a purist approach to digital mastering on the Digital Audio Workstation.

Masters TDM Bundle Contains:
- Linear Phase Equalizer
- Traditional EQ's (both analog and digital) have by their very nature caused phase distortion. Indeed many claim that that is precisely what makes certain EQ's musical. The Linear Phase Equalizer eliminates phase distortion with phase linear FIR filters to provide a more transparent sound. Another advantage of using FIR filters are their guaranteed stability. The reason they have not been more widely used is that these filters have very high implementation complexity
- Linear Phase Multiband
- Provides independent gain and dynamics (compression, EQ and limiting) on five bands with linear phase crossovers. Ideal for purist mastering on full range mixes
- L2 Ultramaximizer
- The next step in peak limiting with ARC (Automatic Gain Control) to add the extra gain needed when mastering projects. IDR and ninth order filters maintain the highest quality, while providing transparent limiting
