I use this tripod when I'm on the go, usually hiking. It is nice and light, but still provides a sturdy base for my DSLR, which is decently heavy. I love the 3 way panhead, and level.

I use this tripod to mount a second external flash. It's perfect when I want to set it on a table out of the way.
After I received this I thought also I could use it for mounting a remote camera that I would trigger via Pocket Wizards.
I quite like this little tool.
