Comments about Sunpak 2003 Pocket Tripod:

I used it this weekend while on vacation with my sisters. We set it up on the roof of the car, which isn't perfectly flat. I had no problems with it sliding off or being a crooked picture. Quick and easy set up and take down. I love the fact that it also goes into a very low position. Very happy with it!

Comments about Sunpak 2003 Pocket Tripod:

We were very pleased with the 2003 Sunpak tripod. It is amazingly sturdy and is of excellent workmanship. We are a business that sells video system packages and include this with our mini system. It's very sturdy, and did not disappoint as it was even better than what we expected!

Can be used for pocket cam self-portraits. I also us to position flashes low to ground. Love the kickout legs that get the head only inches off the ground.

Comments about Sunpak 2003 Pocket Tripod:

I'm a fan of (amateur) photography. I like to capture magic moments of New York City and night-life with my camera. Most of the time when I'm taking night pictures I use my tripod.
My pictures are clear, sharp and ... gorgeous!

Comments about Sunpak 2003 Pocket Tripod:

Amazing capability for the price - an extensible tabletop tripod with three heights easy swivel and tilt adjustment - and supportive enough of my compact P&S camera, even with a bracket and video light added.

            And it LOOKS/feels well-made.

However, by the third shooting session, one of the legs didn't want to retract smoothly. It did close, but I'm concerned about durability. This may be a products which if treated like it's fragile and handled carefully, may last and give long service, but if you treat it like it's solid and will last, it probably won't.

If it breaks soon or fairly soon, I'd give it a one or two star rating. If it doesn't, it deserves a four for price to value ratio, but isn't solid enough in any event to earn a five. So a tentative 3 for now. Time will tell.

Comments about Sunpak 2003 Pocket Tripod:

During our visit to the Empire state building I got great use of this tripod. Larger tripods were not allowed to make the journey to the top floor. Taking night shots would have been impossible without it. I have a Nikon D50. The tripod handled the weight ok. It is a great buy for the price. If you want to spend more B&H offers better ones, but why spend the $$?

Comments about Sunpak 2003 Pocket Tripod:

This pocket tripod is small, compact and inexpensive. I have a few and keep them in bags I carry. The tripod is great for a point and shoot camera and it's legs extend out for added height (which is still only like 8 inches). Most point & shoot cameras take nice night shots with a tripod. It's a good idea to have at least a small tripod with you, and this fits the bill.
