Sunpak Quick Release Plate for 3300 Pro Tripod
This Sunpak Quick Release Plate fits the 3300 Pro (only) tripod and features a cork-covered surface with a 1/4"-20 camera screw.
A quick release plate can be kept attached to the camera's base and allows the user to quickly and easily attach or remove the camera from the tripod without having to waste time fumbling with the threaded mount.

I recently purchased the Sunpak 523PX2 pistol grip ballhead tripod. I quickly realized I was going to want another quick release plate and after some research, found that the plate for the 3300 pro tripod is the same one as I needed. The extra plate has allowed me to put one on my Canon 50D, as well as one on my 70-200 lens! This has made the switch very easy and quick. I don't have to miss a lot of shots in the process. The cork on the plate helps in preventing slipping between the tripod and the camera. I have been very pleased with the set up!

I ordered a new SunPak Quick Release Plate because a critical plastic part broke in cold weather. Well, guess what? The new plate has the same plastic piece. I have a El Cheapo tripod from Wally World and the corresponding part is metal, which is good.
