Ilford Ilfochrome Classic Deluxe Glossy Print Material provides a brilliant surface, intense color saturation, and dramatic contrast.
The strong yet flexible polyester base (Melinex by Dupont) provides durability for portable and permanent displays plus easy mounting, grommeting, and splicing.
While other materials generate their dye image during processing, Ilford's renowned silver dye bleach technology uses pure and highly stable azo dyes which are incorporated during manufacture of the material.
Then, during the processing the negative image area is selectively bleached away. The result is a richer, more colorful, more saturated, and more permanent image.
Now you can get more accurate color renditions, first generation sharpness, and faster turnaround because no internegative is ever required.

Comments about Ilford Ilfochrome Classic Deluxe 30"x98'Glossy:
Ilfochrome transforms a photograph (provided it is correctly exposed) into a true piece of art. Last year, for the first time, I had a few enlargements done on this paper. The lab is in Portland, Maine. I was very happy with the result. Because the prices for Ilfochrome printing, in the USA, are prohibitive, I sent some transparencies to England. I have just received them. Again, I'm very happy with the result - so much so that I ordered museum glass for all prints 12x8. Landscape, seascape and flowers spring to life on this paper. I learnt about it from B&H, my reliable learning source for everything photographic.
Expertise: Closeups/Macro of flowers!
Problems Encountered: This paper cannot handle fingerprints. One must use cotton gloves or a tool when framing a photograph.
Previous Equivalent Item Owned: Papers by other manufactures
Items I Recommend: Does not apply
