Comments about Tamrac 5605 Pro System 5 Camera Bag - for SLR Camera Body with 3-4 Lenses, Flash and Accessories (Black):
I was looking for a camera bag big enough to hold my SLR with 100-400 mm zoom lens, which is pretty big piece of equipment. This bag does it, and has enough space for several more lenses, flash, or the second camera, if needed. It's padded, highly customizable, and has a lot of pockets for accessories and personal items. Main compartment is closed with velcro, that provides the quick access, but also has a buckle. It's light and convenient, I'm quite happy with it.

Love the slim profile of this bag that lets you carry just what you need. I have a D300/grip with 80/200mm zoom attached plus 2 other lenses and flash that all fit nicely. There's plenty of room for all the other accessories,,,memory cards, batteries, charger etc. Well constructed and padded.

I bought this bag to have a smaller bag that allowed me to carry my camera - Canon 50D - with the 70-200mm f/2.8 and maybe, some other lens and accessories. It turned out this bag is very small but it is wonderful. I can fit my EOS 50D with the battery grip and the 70-200mm mounted on, the 28-70mm f/2.8, the 50mm f/1.8, the 2x extender and the flash 570. All this stuff fits comfortably (with the camera and the grip just a tad tight) in the bag and you can use it for a noral day out taking pictures. In the external zipper compartment you can fit the extra AA battery holder for the grip, battery charger, a small cleaning kit and the USB reader. For travel I am even able to carry the 100mm f/2.0 macro in it (arranging the dividers in three spaces, camera + 70-200 in the center, one divider with 100mm, 50mm and flash 570, and the 28-70mm plus the 2x extender in the other section. Everything fits tight so you have to be careful and you cannot pull stuff out quick, but it is nice to be able to carry all this equipment in a very tiny bag and then decide to leave something out when you are at your destination). For travel I love the possibility to open the two zips in the back that allow you to slide the bag on the handle of a carry on bag. The long shoulder strap makes it easier to carry it on your "opposite" shoulder like a sling bag.
You can seal the bag with a zipper and then it closes with three solid oversized buckles. Even my wife, on travel with me, told me several times "that bag is very nice!!"
I strongly reccomend it.

I wanted a 'quick draw' bag for my D-3. The across-the-shoulder sling bags (I have an AW 200) have quick access but don't carry well as a straight shoulder bag (It slips off my shoulder very easily) and to be successful as a sling bag, it needs to be cinched up to the point that is constrictive and really not easy to access. I wanted a bag where the camera rested 'nose down' and could be grabbed in an instant. The 5605 has room for my camera and enuf accessories to handle most day trips. It could use a couple of side pockets.

This is a good sized bag. It will can even hold my Bigma (Sigma 50-500mm) , K20D, and a couple of other lenses like the 31mm Limited, and the 50mm Macro. The MAS system lets me use external pouches for more storage. The included strap is not so good, but you can get one you like for cheap.
