Tamrac 5690 Compact Digital Camera Bag (Black)
The black 5690 Compact Digital Camera Bag from Tamrac is a ballistic nylon foam-padded bag made for carrying and protecting most compact digital cameras. It has Dual Foam Technology that combines closed-cell foam to provide maximum shock protection with open-cell foam for vibration dampening and a custom fit.
Inside the front zippered pocket are two Universal Memory & Battery Pockets to secure various types for memory cards and batteries. The 5690 bag is compatible with the Tamrac S.A.S. Strap Accessory System products and can be worn on any belt or by using the adjustable shoulder strap.

I bought this to carry my SONY HX5V a spare battery and media card. It works perfectly. Unlike many other cases, the main compartment cover has Velcro and a clasp making it easy to get the camera out for unexpected shots. There is also a zippered compartment that easily accommodates the spare battery and media card. I usually attach the case to my belt with the snap-closure-belt-loop; but if I'm not wearing a belt, the case also includes a shoulder strap.

After trying several camera bag options for my new Canon S90 I find Tamrac's 5690 works best because:
1) It goes on your belt or hangs from your neck;
2) The bag opens and closes on Velcro with an extra safety (prong)buckle not a zip-fastener, giving faster access and more security.
3) The interior is padded for better protection of camera;
4) It has extra front pocket with zip to hold memory card.
5) Price beats competition for all these features.

This is a nice camera case and is just as advertised. It has a small zip up compartment big enough for extra memory cards and batteries. It would be nice to have a little more space for digital connectivity gear but I suppose you can get a larger case for that. Quality is good, price is a little higher than it should be. [...] has better ones quite a bit cheaper if you frequent that store.
