I found this to be a handy little case for filters and it worked equally well on my pants belt as it did on my Tamrac Velocity 9X camera/accessories bag. Its a little snug for three 67 mm filters, but keeps them well protected and fairly easy to get to.

I have not found a better solution, but this one is not perfect. The positives are:
-easily and securely attaches to nearly camera bag or strap
-holds the filters securely and separately
-closes securely so filters can't come tumbling out
-reasonably small space requirement
Negatives are:
-a tighter fit than is needed, making it often difficulty to get a filter out when you need one NOW
-filters tend to 'sit down' in the storage slots within the case, making it hard to get your fingers on the SIDES of the filter where they should be..it's easy to get your paws on the filter glass in the process of getting the filter out
And, the biggest gripe: filter slots, while "padded", are lined with ballistic nylon, rather than something softer. Given the cost of 3-4 high quality filters, I'd much prefer something was kinder to glass. Frequent insertion/removal could wear the powder coating off some filters, and there is nothing in this arrangement that helps keep the filter glass clean.
I use this, but keep looking for a better solution. Listening, LowePro?

Comments about Tamrac MX-S5363 S.A.S. Compact Filter Case - holds 3 Round or Square Filters up to 77mm:
I bought this to carry my 3 filter-like items - 1 filter, lens cap, collapsible lens hood. It carries them fine, but it is too bulky for the purpose of carrying small round flat objects, I could almost fit one of those small P&S cameras in it.
Also the material is strong, but hard to get things in and out. I decided to use a soft pouch instead.

We are using this for circular polarizer and ND filters. Unit is easier to pack away than the typical flat, wallet-type case and holds 3 filters with good protection and padding.

I use this to carry filters with my small hip bag. It keeps the filters secure and handy while adding a minimum amount of weight. The carry loop on the back allows me to add it to the bag strap or my belt, whichever is easier.

Not much to say about this. Solid construction, well padded, compact. Basically, I feel comfortable putting over $300 worth of filters in here and trusting it will keep them safe! Cost is fairly reasonable too.

I like it very much, it can be attached to my original Tamrac bag on side or on the strap. Interion for filters is not very smooth I prefer to wrap filter in small tissue.

Comments about Tamrac MX-S5363 S.A.S. Compact Filter Case - holds 3 Round or Square Filters up to 77mm:
This case has three slots which just barely fit 77mm filters. It should have been designed to fold out to make retrieving the filter easier, or to allow one to see which filter is in each slot. As it is, one needs to be careful in retrieving a filter not to accidentally touch the glass.

Comments about Tamrac MX-S5363 S.A.S. Compact Filter Case - holds 3 Round or Square Filters up to 77mm:
Fits three 77mm filters no problem. I have one circular polarizer, graduated filter, and thin UV filter which is attached to my 72-77 stepup ring. No problem fitting these three filters. The belt strap can be released in a way that I don't have to remove my belt all the way. No problem functionally. I wish it'd looked little slicker.
