these were fantastic. I was replacing male connectors (20) that had a set screw and a metal cable clamp. These have a gripper that tightens down on the cable the more you twist the boot on. if a wire does come loose, you can untwist the boot and check it out or fix it. I also put heat shrink tubing on my cable as it was smaller than a normal coated xlr wire, which helped make a super strong, durable fitting. to beat all, these were the cheapest i could find! [...]
