I've had this bag for about two years now. All in all it's an awesome bag for the price. There's tons of room for your camera, lenses and accessories. For a majority of the time I carried my 20d and five lenses around in this bag with no problem at all. I now carry my 40d with the same lenses and flash with-out any problems. There's not many configurations you can make with the removable dividers, but it works. The padding is more than sufficient. I've watch my bag, full of equipment, fall from a boulder easily 15' high on to several other large rocks and not damage a thing. Completely full my bag weighs at least 32 lbs! There are a couple of things that I would have liked to have known before I bought it, but after having used the bag they wouldn't change my mind. It's not completely water proof. I've been in many a rain storms and wet locations, and in the worst of'em I've had to remove everything from the bag and let them dry out. Nothing too crazy, but if your someone who'd freak if your camera got a little wet, this bag isn't for you. Another problem I've found is the zipper. There's two, one on each side of the main compartment. One of them gave out about a year after I bought it. I've been able to use the other one to close it for now, but I think it's only a matter of time before that one goes. They should have made it a little bigger and stronger, but it'd probably also make the bag a little more expensive. I think it'd still be worth the extra cash. Another problem, depending on your specific situation, is the tripod straps. If you have a big, heavy and expensive tripod like me you can forget about using them. First, attaching the tripod to one side of the bag wears on your back and hips (too much weight on one side). Second, the heavier tripod tears the plastic brackets that hold the straps, eventually making them completely useless (including the ones on the bottom of the bag). I prefer to slip one of the legs of my tripod over the lower end of one of the shoulder straps so it hangs by my waist. It's still lopsided, but not too bad. Other then those three problems this bag is great. I'm looking for a new bag, and I think I might actually just buy another one of these. If you're looking for a good bag at a good price this is it.
Note to B&H: Put some more photos of this bag online. Similar to the set-up you have for the other bags you sell. Show some of the inside pockets, and the breathable back pad. I think it'd help with the sales.

A great price for a name-brand back-pack. Comfortable main shoulder harnesses; perhaps too many dangling straps (I removed 2 and plan on removing additional straps). Color is ok (though I would have preferred black or red).
Easy to move the compartments around for a custom fit. I wish that the top of the pack had more padding for the camera itself and it seems like there should be a cushion to protect the LCD (it's close to the zipper). All that money on a camera, want to be certain to protect it.
Lots of room for additional accessories. I have the T2i and standard lens, additional lens, flash, cords, cards, etc. with plenty of room to spare. When loaded, the pack seems heavier than a side bag. Would love this if it was a side/shoulder sling (again, too many straps). Perhaps it's made more for rough hiking, but padding doesn't seem appropriate for that. Never used the 2 straps across the chest (more dangling straps) and do we REALLY need 2 shoulder straps, a strap across your chest AND a strap across the waist?
Have found that the tripod/monopod straps under the bag(s) (also on the Canon T1i kit bag) make carrying through doorways and public places cumbersome, not to mention noisy when setting bags down . Full bag weight is on the only unprotected equipment (hope your not fond of that new monopod, because it will take a beating). I left mine home and removed the straps. Bag looks and feels cleaner.
Was hoping the bag was a bit smaller for run-and-go. Bag would be REALLY heavy if I purchase additional equipment.
Had no use for the outside cargo straps (maybe someone could put a rain poncho here)? Cell phone fits nicely in the side pocket and is easily accessible. Small pockets for SD are nice, but I like to keep mine in plastic protective sleeves (these won't fit), so they are pretty but not useful.
Top carrying handle is nice and I find myself using it frequently.
Would love the bag, if it had the camera in a separate, easily accessible compartment. If I unzip the bag from the top, I need to be careful not to unzip too far, as the equipment will fall out. You can avoid this by just setting bag down horizontally, but that isn't always easy or clean, especially in public places. Would be great to have the bottom and back water-resistant for such instances.
I know, a lot of griping, but for the price, it is a great bag. I would probably have preferred a $100 bag, but this fits the bill for the price. Can always use with our video camera equipment when I tire of this one.

I love taking my camera with me and with my 200 EG backpack it is so easy to have all the gear I need and not having to worry about leaving it on the ground while I take pictures. I just put the backpack on and have both hands free for my camera and I don't have to worry about it sliding off or tripping over it. It is so comfortable I forget I have it on. I love this backpack.

This backpack is perfect for my needs. It holds my 11" MacBook Air, Canon DSLR, TTL flash, 2 additional lenses, battery pack, and many other accessories.
Side pockets are useful for small items such as cords chargers and single batteries. The inside is very well thought out with spaces for additional memory cards, filters and a 6 x 8" flash diffuser. Very sturdy build.
I look forward to using this for many years to come . . . or the end of the Mayan calendar whichever comes first.

This bag is big enough to carry my camera and about 4 lenses. There is a separate compartment for cards and filters and smaller items. There are side compartments for keys and phones and such. I can also easily fit my ipad and camcorder as well. The exterior straps are probably useful for some things but I removed all of them because they got all tangled. This bag might be too large for alot of people, but I would rather have too much room than not enough.

I've only had this bag for a couple of months but it's perfect for my lifestyle and for the sorts of events I'm shooting.Definitely a step up from a beginner camera bag, it's pretty roomy and has plenty of storage space. The zipper pull broke off of the zipper but I was able to attach it back on and clamp it down with no problems. Other than that I have zero complaints.

I ordered this for use on a trip to Disney where I wanted to take my good camera but didn't want the hassle of my current "over the shoulder" bag.
First, the price was super. I had a friend look at the same bag at another retailer and it was twice the price there.
Secondly, it was very functional. I actually have a Nikon D5000 with a Tamran 18-270 lens. It fit the camera fine. The camera case pocket was configurable enough that it will hold other lens (which I don't have) but allowed me to adjust to hold two water bottles, cords, and other accessories. There are also two extra mesh pockets that worked well for small snacks, rain ponchos, etc. (Since it's so padded it also served as a bit of an insulator for the water bottles, too!) The middle pocket had 3 slots for extra SD cards plus pockets that held snacks, sunscreen and other items. Two side pockets were good for cell phones or other items. Finally, the front section was adjustable enough that I could roll up a couple of kids jackets and put them in that area until needed.
The only downside is that bag is sturdy as a camera bag but not as light as a regular backpack. I would also like the inside to have an additional strap to hold in the camera on the top but that is minimal.

Comments about Canon Deluxe Backpack 200 EG:
I needed a backpack style camera bag to hold all my gear. I searched for two years. Most of the bags I saw locally were too small or really expensive. I needed something to hold two pro bodies, several pro lenses, speedlight and odds/ends. I was ready to pull the trigger on another bag that retailed for $400 when I stumbled across this little gem at a local store. BH had it for half the price so I ordered it.
I've used the bag on two long trips now and it's been great. It holds all my gear and I still have room to spare. I've carried it on several mile hikes up steep terrain and it's been quite comfortable. The bag in general is pretty well constructed. The interior is completely customizable so your gear, whatever it may be, fits snuggly. Sure, the $400 bag looks much cooler and may last longer but I figure I can buy 10 of these bags for the price of the other one. BTW, I'm a Nikon shooter!

I do a number of operations, from Outdoor Photography, art, and UE, and this bag carries a wide varity of equipment and supplies for me without any difficulty. I can now carry more in my vest, and have more free room in both with this bag. Very well designed, and able to handle a lot of situations.

I use this bag to travel on airplanes and carry my Canon 7D with 100-400L lens plus accessories--extra batteries & charger; memory cards; rain cover; etc. It is very spacious. I like the adjustable compartments. Since I read other reviews concerning the zippers, I made a few adjustments: I used pliers to better secure the zipper pulls and I put small locking caribiners to hold the pair of zippers together, which prevents both unauthorized access and accidental unzipping. I made an additional velcro strap to have a second strap across the long lens. I also used a ripstop fabric patch to cover the Canon logo, which is an invitation to theft. The backpack is comfortable enough for short durations, but I'm not sure it would be for long hikes.

Comments about Canon Deluxe Backpack 200 EG:
I purchased the backpack to carry and protect my camera equipment when I hike into the Columbia River Gorge in search of Waterfalls to shoot. The pack is well constructed and has several storage areas beside the main compartment. The back flap is attached with elastic cordage and stretches open. This feature actually works great for carrying water bottles. The top zippered pouch is flat and could be used for maps, manuals or other flat material. It could have been given a side panel to hold thicker items. The second zippered pouch has ample storage area for other gear. I keep a rope and extra batteries here. There are 3 small velcro sealed pockets that could hold flash storage, if they are SD cards. My camera uses the larger CF cards. There are also to larger elastic pockets below them. These could have been larger. The main compartment and reason for the pack is the equipment bay. This could have been designed better. There are 2 long dividers separated by padded velcro flaps that adjust the compartment sizes for camera bodies and lenses. There is one slot for a camera with lens at the top. The compartment could have been larger over all to hold more equipment. On the outside, there are 2 buckled straps on the side and bottom and 2 flapped pockets. The bottom straps are for a tripod but are very hard to tighten. I removed them and replaced them with velcro straps for quick access to the tripod. The shoulder straps are padded and comfortable. There is an adjustable chest strap that just gets in the way and slides on the shoulder strap. The waist belt is barely long enough for me and is only one inch wide. A 2 or 3 inch wide belt would have been more useful and comfortable. Overall, the backpack is a good value but I have seen others that provide better features for less money. I am getting ready to fly with this bag. Should be interesting to see how well it travels on a plane.
