When fitted with an EMD 750 watt bulb, each Tota-light will emit a beam of 41 footcandles with the barndoors at normal position and 34 footcandles with the barndoors at 180° position, from a distance of 10 ft (3 m).
Add bulbs of your choice of 300W, 500W or 750W. Bulbs for 220-240 volts, and plug adapters are also available. The kit case may vary according to availability.

- On location lighting
- Studio lighting
Great basic tungsten light kit for both studio and on location. Portable and reliable Tota Light. I used these for both film and lately more with digital.
The down side would be heat and must be careful not to overload the electrical line especially with two or more lights with high wattage bulb and trip the breaker.
The kit comes with good air-cushioned stand and umbrellas and case. The case is not tough enough and one of the zipper broke on me while on my way for shooting.
Also, make sure to bring extra bulbs.
