The UR-E7 adapter easily screws onto the front of a Coolpix 950, 990, 995 & 4500 Digital Cameras, allowing you to add a WC-E68 wide Lens.
For use with Coolpix 885 & 4300 you need to have the UR-E4 + UR-E7.

The Nikon Coolpix 990 (and related cameras) takes 28mm accessories directly, and the 3X tele-adapter has 28mm threads, but the wide angle adapter does not. This slim converter adapter mates the wide angle lens with the 28mm camera perfectly.

It blocks the flash that comes with the camera so it is not useful at night. If you're planning to use it for night shots get an external flash or you will get a black spot covering 1/3 of the photo.

I bought it to use a wide angle lens E-67 on a Nikkon Coolpix 4500. It was delivered fast (~1 day, east coast), and does just what I bought it for. You screw it on your camera and then screw the lens to it.
