The Audio-Technica AT8314 Premium Microphone Cable features professional XLR-male to XLR-female Neutrik connectors and is designed specifically for low-impedance microphone signals. The cable is sure to deliver maximum signal transfer and minimum loss due to a combination of its heavy-duty construction, inner and outer protective RF shielding and heavy-duty 24-gauge stranded copper conductors.
Note! The Audio-Technica AT8314 Premium Microphone Cables are intended for low-impedance microphone use. Use only AT8314 series (or like wired) cables when extending multiple XLR cables to avoid phasing issues, signal cancellation and other artifacts.

Comments about Audio-Technica AT8314 Premium Microphone Cable - 3' (0.91m):
This cable was purchased to connect a wireless microphone reciever to a vocal processor. The cable length is ideal since it gives enough slack for flexible placement of each unit without an excess of cable to get in the way. The cable is built with a high quality construction, and it differs from much of the competition in that the metal tips of each plug are anodized in black, which camouflages it behind my rack.

This cable fit my needs perfectly. It was short enough so it didnt' interfere with all the other clutter on my desktop. I didn't need a long cable getting in the way. As far as functionality goes, it works just great!

We had a board room with 9 microphones in it, we upgraded and added 6 more. I purchased these to go from the microphone wire to the microphone base and they worked perfectly. The older ones were 2 ft., I purchased 3 ft. for the extra space to move them around.
Audio-Technica is a great brand, we also have 2 of their wireless microphones.

Comments about Audio-Technica AT8314 Premium Microphone Cable - 3' (0.91m):
The quality of sound is excellent for my prosumer camera and shotgun mic. This is a durable cable that will take what you throw at it and keep giving you excellent sound. This is my third Audio-Technica cable also owning the 100 ft and 25 ft which each also give the same quality sound.
For the couple extra dollars the extra slack is worth it versus the 1.5 ft if using it with a prosumer camera. The extra length allows you, if needed, to put the mic on a fig rig or somewhere else close.

Comments about Audio-Technica AT8314 Premium Microphone Cable - 3' (0.91m):
I use these to connect a portable field mixer or a wireless receiver to the video camera. The receiver (Sennheiser G2) should be kept out of sunlight so if you are shooting outdoors, you can leave the receiver in a shoulder bag.
The female end of the Audio-Technica XLR cables have a rectangular, Neutrik hole to keep them locked in when connected. Hard to tell by catalog images when you are first shopping for cables.
Wish these were available color-coded so it would be easy to tell Left vs. Right. You can mark the ends with colored electrical tape or a rubber band instead.

I use this to go from a shotgun mic to a solid state recorder slung around my shoulder. The cable quality is good, and the length is great for what I am using it for. No problems with the cable yet.

Comments about Audio-Technica AT8314 Premium Microphone Cable - 3' (0.91m):
I can't speak for their durability, as I've only used them in a permanent installation (they're not plugged and unplugged on a regular basis). What I can say is that they worked right out of the box with no extraneous noises. That's nice for inexpensive cables. Simply put, they do what they're supposed to do. What more can you ask?
