This Equinox color correction filter has a 52mm thread.
The filter alters the blue color of warm salt water to give it a rich, natural tone. It also enhances the contrast of underwater video and photographs. The filter works exceptionally well in shallow depths up to 60'.
The filter should be used with available light only.

Comments about Equinox 52mm Underwater Color Filter for Blue Water (Saltwater):
I use the Blue Water colour filtre with my Olympus StylusTough-8000 and a PT-045 housing for underwater photography while scuba diving.
The colour filtre makes a world of difference when photographing subjects at medium range (just beyond the range of the camera's built-in flash) with plenty of sunlight at depths between 15-40 feet of sea water. It restores red hues for a more natural appearance, removing much of the excess blue in the photo.
The colour filtre becomes far less useful under cloudy conditions or depths beyond 40ft, where images become overwhelmed with blue tones so you still have to edit them on a computer to get decent colour. Don't even think about trying macro or semi-macro (that's anything that would be within the range of the camera's built-in flash) photography with the colour filtre attached. You would be far better off removing the colour filtre and using the built-in flash for any close-up shots.
Thankfully, it is easy to remove and replace the colour filtre from the lens port while underwater, by simply screwing it in place. With some practice, it becomes easier to tell when you need the colour filtre and when it will be either ineffective, or counterproductive (by adding too much red).
This is a good product, but it may not make as much of a difference as you expect, especially if your diving photography goes beyond its useful depth range and lighting conditions.

Comments about Equinox 52mm Underwater Color Filter for Blue Water (Saltwater):
I have not had a chance to dive with this yet so I can not say about color or pictures, but on my first look over it. The element is very loose in the ring and the sleeve they gave to store it in is a cheap vynal thing that offers very little to no protection. I am trying to get out diving so I might revise my comments.

Simply amazing what this color correction filter does. No more struggling with post processing software. From now on, I will never shoot reef dives without this filter. Never - ever !!!
