I've been using this cutter to trim photos. So far, the cut is awesome! Only had this a few weeks, but according to others, this cutter can last many years at excellent performance. Happy I decided to upgrade to a professional cutter.

Have only used this trimmer a few times so far to cut business cards and some 40 and 70lb paper. It has cut everything smoothly and accurately. It seems very durable, and I expect it will cut all of the paper, photos and cardstock my business needs it to for many years.

I needed a cutter to trim 10 mil laminated photographs made into bookmarks. No one reviewing seems to use it for trimming laminated items. This does the trim perfectly, without leaving hard or sharp edges. And the trims I've tried so far, basic and very fine all were exact and perfect. No slippage. No mis-cuts. Trims effortlessly.

I'm so impressed with the sturdiness and the quality construction. This will probably be the only trimmer I need unless I ever need to trim larger prints.

Thanks to the other reviewers for recommending the 18" over the 15". Gives room to expand sizes I trim in the future.

This is second RotaTrim cutter I have purchased, because I have always found them to be of high quality and they hold up well over time. I have never even had to replace the blade on my first one and I've had it for several years.

Over the years, I have used many other types of paper cutters. All of them would cut paper, but not accurately. Wish now that I had bought this one in the first place. Very accurate and easy to use.

I bought eight of these for my company's use. We don't trim a lot of prints, but I got these because they're sharp, flush, and accurate. Take care of it; most rotary trimmers deteriorate quickly when they're abused.

I should have ordered this a long time ago. We produce small quantity DVD orders and cutting the covers to fit the DVD case is a pain. This cutter is quick and very accurate. I just wish the plaform was longer from blade to left edge of board. We'd like to be able to lay a 14" long sheet of paper down to a marked cut edge instead of having to "sight" that first cut. The price and [...] were great.

This is a precision piece of equipment. I use it to get a professional looking result for my photographs. It cuts quickly and easily. The blade is super sharp and I can trim hair's width pieces from the edges of glossy photo paper. I would recommend this cutter. It is solidly built to last a lifetime of cutting. I have no regrets about spending the extra money for this; it won't need replacement.

Have had the 12" model for over 5 years. Still as sharp as the day I bought it. This thing cuts razor clean edges! Got the 18" for more flexibility in paper sizes. You will not be disappointed with this cutter.

I've put the purchase of this trimmer off for years, even considered cheaper comparisons. I finally pulled the trigger a few weeks ago during a huge portrait print job. This cutter is absolutely amazing. Smooth, clean, precise. The adjustable paper guide is perfect.

I used to take so much time cutting on my old rotary, sweating a little with each cut, this RotaTrim makes cutting almost a pleasure and I start working so fast I have to watch myself.

I highly recommend this product and although I've only had it a few weeks it seems extremely well built and I plan to be using it for years and years to come. One of the best 'office/lab' investments I've made in quite a while. Certainly one I don't regret at all.

I have been using this cutter for 2-3 weeks to trim my images before matting/framing. Its cuts are precise and exact. Couldn't ask for a better product. One truly gets what one pays for.........

Use it for cutting larger sheet photo paper into standard sizes and find it to be indispensable after using a cheap scrapbook cutter for years. Should have bought this one long ago. It's heavy, and with the rubber feet and it's weight there is no shifting when cutting. There is a friction paper holder the length of the cutter which holds the paper firm so you can slide the cutter head with one hand if you need to catch paper on the back when on the edge of a table to keep it from falling to the floor. It also stores vertically(hard floor) on it's side when not in use which frees up needed desk space.
Would have rated it 5 stars but the left paper guide is not perfectly 90 degrees and compensation has to be made, no big deal, the grid is right on and there is no way I'm sending it back for repair as I can't do without it.

Cuts precise pictures with little to no experience in working with the item. Can slice just a sliver off to square up cuts.

This cutter isn't messing around. I use it all the time to cut card stock down to size and it cuts perfectly straight! This is a big deal because I need to run the paper through my printer. If the cut's not right, then the print's not right and the client's not happy. It will trim the tiniest bit off without bending the paper too. Perfect for handling the details! Also like how I don't need to struggle to move the cutter, it can handle whatever I put in it. Love this cutter!!

Great Cutter! It's expensive compared to some other cutters, but definitely well worth the money. Very precise cuts.
