I do a lot of photography, have many light stands. Moving into audio/video and didn't want to buy all new mic stands. This makes it possible to use studio light stands to fit microphones, well worth the few dollars.

Does what it is supposed to do, like all of these they will get stuck in the mic clip or shock mount when you take it off and you'll struggle to get it out of your shockmount so buy one for each mic. If you've got a mixture of US standard mic stands and EU standard mic stands, put one of these in all your mic clips and the thread that goes the other way 3/8 to 5/8 to put on your mic stands so you can put any mic clip on any stand without having to take these things out of your shockmounts all the time cause it's not easy

Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Groove at the top is a nice touch. I used this to size down my Audio-Technica shock mount to fit on my Rode Micro Boom Pole.

Great product, does its job. Good price.
Wish it was easier to remove when it gets stuck to the mic clip itself but not counting that against the product.

ktek boom had a smaller screw than my shock mount so this connected them tightly together. did what i needed

I recently bought a boom pole that had a 3/8'' thread, and needed an adaptor for my 5/8'' shockmount. This adapter pretty much did the trick, and was relatively cheap. Unlike some other adaptors I've used, this Hosa one has a few features that make it more usable: It has a coin grove on the top for tightening, and the top portion of the adaptor is wider for easier removal.
