My favorite paper - definitely outperforms Illford's equivalent version. Rich black tones and gradients of gray

I use this paper in my photography 2 class. The blacks show up very nicely, but it is a little too "cold" for my taste. Also, I don't really like how heavy the paper is and how it curls and crinkles after it dries. I prefer Ilford's multigrade paper compared to this, but apparently this Oriental paper is highly recommended for professional photographers.

I use the product for black and white dark room development. I like the quality of the product, as well as the results that are produced. My photos look great on this paper. [...]

I have not been able to say enough things about Oriental Paper since I was first introduced to it...
The base is a brighter white and blacks are cooler than ilford's standard paper with an equal or better tonal range. The double weight base is a heavier stock than ilford's double weight, even though they carry the same moniker of description; it feels much less flimsy. It all comes at a better price point too!
the only complaint I can make about this paper is that it curls easily while drying if you're not vigilant, but it's nothing a few heavy books can't fix for you in time.
cheers!

I got this for my high school photo class, and the prints have far more depth and richness than RC paper. The price was excellent and so far the quality seems very good. The only con I find with this product is that as fiber paper it takes far longer to dry than RC paper, and it tends to warp slightly if left to dry on a drying rack for an extended period of time.
