The UX16 from Yamaha is a compact, cable-style 1 input/1 output USB MIDI interface, designed to provide the easiest connection of MIDI devices to a computer.
Features include intuitive connector cable labels and MIDI indicator LEDs.

I have yamaha digital piano, and i used to have a cheap midi interface, and had some problems with sustain pedal, velocity, keys, etc. However, this UX16 recognizes everything on the digital piano, and so far no problem at all. Works Perfectly!

More expensive than the cheap Chineese products but so far it works fine with no connection problems or missed notes. Used with Yamaha keyboard and Sibelius 6 software.
