Gator Cases GM-4 4 Drop Mic Padded Bag
The Gator GM-4 4 Drop Mic Bag (Black) is a soft 600 denier nylon padded bag, made to carry up to four microphones with accessories. There is a slot for a belt pack. It has interior storage space with four mic drops and an exterior storage pocket with a zipper slit pocket on the front. The bag is carried by a top handle or an included shoulder strap.

It's easy for expensive microphones to become dented and scratched just throwing them in a bag. Gator cases have cutouts that protect them. Well worth it for expensive mics used regularly.

Really nice bag! Top quality materials and construction, as with all that Gator makes. The depth of the mic slots is such that the mics I was hoping to store in it are a bit too long for the shallow holes, and mics with a little longer body than say an SM58 tend to stick out a little. The lid still closes just fine, but you may want to keep that in mind if you have plans to put something just a little longer in it. The condensers I planned to put in it have a very compact head, so I put them in the slots "head down," and that gives them better protection than the other way around. (That way, only the connector end of the mics sticks out of the hole at the top, and that is better than having the element sticking out -- the flap on the top is padded, but I hate having deformed grilles. I'd give it the full five stars if not for the size issue.

I use this case for carrying mics and recorders for multimedia productions. It holds a Zoom H4N, mics, headphones, cables a small mic stand with a metal base, a small tripod stand, cables, windscreens & accessories. Everything is well protected. Very generous foam padding.
