The CA-920 used in conjunction with your canon BP-series batteries is not only the quick and sure way to charge - it also has that nifty little DC connection for a wired coupler to power your camera whenever you're looking to get away from reliance on battery power.
When you have this magic trio of a BP-series battery, the DC coupler, and the CA-920 charger - you've got everything you need in the way of firing up your unit.
It is slightly on the pricey side but a great investment none the less.

What can I say? It's a quality charger that works, doesn't break, and charges batteries quickly. If I have only one complaint, it's that over a hundred dollars seems a little steep for a charger. But I don't forsee having to replace it anytime soon, unless I lose it like I lost the first one.

It's a solid Canon part, what can I say? I almost spent the extra money for the dual charger, but I have to admit, I'm pretty cheap. I have tried 3rd Party chargers before and found them to be almost universally bad, so it was worth it to me to pay a little bit extra for this one.
