This is a great all purpose bag, not just for tripods although that was the reason I purchased it. I am considering buying another for my light stands. This is not what I consider a heavily padded bag so using it to check a tripod onto a airplane is risky, but it certainly has enough padding (touch more than just the canvas alone) to protect it while being carried in the trunk of my car or from site to site. It appears well made. Note however, that the zipper does not extend over any end and stops an inch or so shy of each end. My tripod measures 33 inches long. The zippered opening makes it tight getting in and out of the 35 inch bag. Once inside, plenty of room.

Although this bag is made with nice, thick canvas material, it has a poorly constructed zipper that seems cheap and probably not able to withstand much zipping open and closed under normal wear and tear field conditions. It also does not fully fit the Manfrotto tripod with 501 or 503HDV head without having to remove the head's pan handle so the bag will zip fully shut. A couple of inches on the top end of the bag would have been nice, and more solid zipper construction and this bag would have made a few more stars.

Comments about Vidpro TC35 Padded Tripod Case - for Tripod with Head, up to 35" Long:
It's sturdy and tough, it's definitely serving it's purpose for me, just to carry around an extra tripod/small camera slider.
It is heavy duty like it's described, definitely worth the money for a smaller/mid level tripod (like a Manfrotto or Sachtler Ace)

This bag is large enough for my tripod and monpod. Very usefule, I get tired of lugging around my tripod all over the place.
Comments about Vidpro TC35 Padded Tripod Case - for Tripod with Head, up to 35" Long:
You really can't go wrong with the price. I would never fly with these bags, but I use them to protect my tripods while in the trunk of my car. The padding is just enough to ensure they travel without getting scratched or damaged.

Comments about Vidpro TC35 Padded Tripod Case - for Tripod with Head, up to 35" Long:
A lot of reviews here comment about how thin the bag is - and while it is true, the bag suits the need of having a place to keep your tripod in and transport it. I wrap mine in a blanket anyway. It would be great if it was more padded and had a better strap for carrying, but for the price it can't be beat!

The bag is a no-frills bag that compacts well and can hold light tripods and monopods. Check to make sure your tripod head will fit ahead of time - Manfrotto 501HDV video head won't fit.

Hey look, you're not going to throw it on a plane and travel with it but for local stuff around town and from set to set, it's perfect! And you def can't beat the price! The zippers seem fine to me as well as long as you don't rip them open and closed. bags are equipment too so just take care of it and will will last.

Comments about Vidpro TC35 Padded Tripod Case - for Tripod with Head, up to 35" Long:
I actually own a bunch of these bags in different sizes for moving around my gear. They are perfect for tripods, compact light standard, etc. The best part is that they are pretty cheap too for what you get. I bought a tripod bag from the company that makes my very expensive tripod and while you can tell it is well made, it is not worth the high price I paid when I could have just gotten one of these. The only thing I would have liked in a removable shoulder strap, as this one is sewn to the bag, but for the price, I can't really mark that as a negative.

This case provides a medium level of protection for a variety of tripod configurations. Heavy use results in zipper failure, but still a good low-budget buy.

I am a Pro videographer. I just need a good (and cheap) bag for my new Manfrotto monopod 681B. This one works beautifully. It meets all my requirements, especially for the price.
I have read someone complains about its zipper, non sense. I find nothing to complain.

Works great! Make sure to review the size, I have a smaller tripod and thus have some extra room unless I leave the tripod extended slightly

Comments about Vidpro TC35 Padded Tripod Case - for Tripod with Head, up to 35" Long:
My problem with this bag is that it gets offered in combination with items that you cannot fin in it. If you get a tripod with a bigger head (longer handles) it isn't possible to zip the bag up.
Otherwise it could be a decent bag for carrying a lighter smaller tripod, a tripod with a small head or some smaller light stands. It is definitely not a bag for anything heavy as the handles are not padded and it doesn't seem too durable.
It is cheap though...

it does little to nothing to protect your tripod. I don't recommend you purchase this, spend more money on a REAL tripod case.

The bag is OK. but it is not large enough to hold the tripod with handle attached. Pain in the [*]- to remove the tripod handle every time you want to put it in the bag.
