Comments about Equinox Mini Dual Aqualight Light System:

This lighting system is different from any I have used in the past. The lights themselves are very nice - good light, easy to turn on & off.

The problem I had with this system was the battery pack. It's huge, weighs about 9 pounds & has to be strapped to your tank. Then there are cables that run from the battery pack - around to each of the lights. These cables are not coiled, so they are not stretchy & really limit movement. Also - none of the connections can get wet (when disconnected) - so they cannot be disconnected while in wet conditions. This means you are connected to your bulky camera equipment. This presents a big challenge when trying to get into the water from taller boats or other challenging situations. You can't get in - then have someone hand you your camera... You have to jump in holding all your equipment - or - put all your equipment (including tank & BCD) into the water then put it all on after you get in. So - just a warning, this set up is a bit challenging & cumbersome to use. Before this I had only used Light & Motion's video set-up with the camera mounted battery packs. That is much much easier.

Luckily I don't use lights all the time.
