Comments about Porta Brace RMB-SK100 Radio Mic Bouncer:
Solid protection for your radio mic transmitter but it comes at a cost. The word 'bouncer' in Radio Mic Bouncer becomes a lot clearer when you open the case. Inside you'll find the case is exactly 1" longer than the transmitter thus leaving a large gap at the bottom (simply a pocket of air for shock protection). What it boils down to is the length of your transmitter will be increased by a whole inch with this case attached.
I'm not convinced about the inch of air, given the inherent thickness of the Cordura material which these are made of I think a 1cm gap would have sufficed. As the transmitter is velcroed on the inside I can't help but wonder exactly how high you would need to drop your mic in order for it to fully utilize the inch of air as shock protection. 10 feet, 20 feet? How often do you drop your mic out a window?
Another small issue is the length of Velcro strip supplied by Portabrace to attach to your transmitter foolishly suggests it needs to go all the way around the transmitter. Unfortunately if you do this you are no longer able to open the battery compartment. You need to actually cut about an inch off the Velcro strip & stick it to only three sides of the transmitter to avoid this.
On the plus side the case has a built-in belt clip & a plastic loop allowing attachment to a carabina. It's also built to last.
Good but not ideal.

Comments about Porta Brace RMB-SK100 Radio Mic Bouncer:
This is a must-have for owners of the Sennheiser SKP-100 transmitter who need to run 'n gun with a hand mic on standby. the window allows you to view the indicators clearly, and the controls can be accessed easily. Clip has held up well.
The case seems to be slightly oversized for the transmitter, but otherwise fits nicely.
