International orders*If you are looking to get the best sound from your music, computer games, or television sound then you absolutely must buy the Tivoli Model Subwoofer. This diminutive sub-woofer extends the Model Two, Model Three and Model Satellite's bass response by a half-octave. The 5.25" bass driver, 20watt internal amplifier, front-ported design, and wood cabinet give you an even richer musical sound. While the Auto On/Standby circuit activates the sub-woofer automatically when it receives a signal and places it in standby when the signal is absent.
If you already have a Model Two, Model Three and/or Model Satellite in Metallic Taupe/Cherry then you will definitely want this matching piece for the best sound possible.

Comments about Tivoli Model Subwoofer - Metallic Taupe:
As other reviewers have stated, the subwoofer doesn't rattle the windows or thump you over the head. But it does add depth and richness. I wish I could have found it at a cheaper price but I'm happy with it.

Comments about Tivoli Model Subwoofer - Metallic Taupe:
I've been using the Model 2 stereo radio for about a year and a half, mainly as speakers for my computer and also as an FM radio (I am a software developer so spend many hours a day sitting here and listen to a variety of music from rock to r&b to folk to country to classical while I work). I have been very happy with their sound but recently decided to spring for the subwoofer hoping to add a little more depth to the sound.
This isn't going to rattle the windows but that isn't the point of any of Tivoli's products as far as I can tell. It does subtly but noticeably fill out the bottom end. Music sounds a little more alive with the subwoofer connected although I really can't hear it separately from the main speakers unless I get right next to the box. I guess that is the point really.
The design is good, the cherry cabinets are well constructed and look and feel solid. The switches and knobs all have good positive feel. None of this equipment feels cheap.
A little expensive but you only have to buy it once. I am happy that I did and wish that I had bought it earlier.

Comments about Tivoli Model Subwoofer - Metallic Taupe:
I added this sub to my Tivoli Model 2 system, and I also have a Model 3 I can use it with also. I use the system in my modestly-sized living room, where the components easily fits on a small book case. It's not a big thumping subwoofer. I listen to mostly jazz, standards, some classical and opera through the small Tivoli Model 2 main speakers. It does bring out the bass that the they can't reach -- nicely and subtlely. It won't shake your internal organs. It's also in a nice cabinet so you don't mind looking at it either. If you've got the bucks to blow, it's a nice enhancement to the Tivoli systems.
