The MULTICOM PRO MDX4600 from Behringer provides four channels of Interactive Knee Adaptation (IKA) compression/limiting, housed in a single rack space chassis. A peak limiter on all channels helps prevent clipping of the audio source.
Each compressor features program dependent attack and release times with a switchable side-chain filter to help with bass dominated compression. Channels 1/2 and 3/4 can be switched as independent pairs for stereo operation and accurate metering and professional connections provide extensive processing power.

Comments about Behringer MDX4600 MULTICOM PRO-XL 4 Channel Dynamics Unit:
This compressor unit performs its job very well! It has been a life saver in my little church! Two of these units allow me to compress the vocals and guitars, as well as use two channels as limiters for the main signals.
The only thing that causes me to give this unit four stars is with its user "friendly-ness". Since this was my first time using a compressor, I would have been thoroughly confused and frustrated without the assistance of professionals who walked me through Compressor 101! If this is your first time using a compressor, ASK FOR HELP from professionals who know!! It'll save you a great deal of headache! Plus, once you've mastered Compressor 101, you will really enjoy and appreciate the functionality and features that are packed in this little unit!
