I use this foot pedal with Ableton Live. Once you get it configured, it's a lot of fun to use. One problem I had: The expression pedals did not work right out of the box...meaning they did not send any MIDI signals at all. After a bit of googling, I found a site that explained how to configure them and I was up and running. I would definitely recommend this pedal....your imagination is the limit with this thing!

Used on live gigs to control a guitar multi effects rack and amplifier channel switch. I rarely use more than 10 patches on any given gig so I assign my ten patches to a bank and rarely change banks during a gig. For my needs, it has been good. I threw it right into use so I have not fully used/programed the expression controls. Otherwise its been great at a great price considering the alternative was the Roland at almost 3 times the price. I love being able to change patches and amplifier channels simultaneusly with one stomp.

Purchased it to control Ableton Live 8 Software. Seems sturdy, and has many options for controlling midi. Must be programed before use, and it uses old school style programming. I just programmed it to send out midi notes for functions, and that works fine.

I use this pedal to control Amplitube 3 and Tracktion 3 through my PC. There are a number of advantages to using this pedal, but the greatest is that, if you can conceive of the MIDI programming you want to achieve, you can get it to do whatever you want, Control Change, Program Change, Continuous Controller, whatever, in whatever order. There is a wonderful support community out there ([@]), and freeware pc as well as mac editors for this unit (to avoid foot programming), not to mention manufacturers of replacement upgrade EPROM chips to enhance the functionality of the unit. Keep in mind to calibrate the pedals when you first hook it up ([@]). It is ruggedly constructed, which is surprising given the price. It far out-values any other MIDI foot pedal controllers on the market today. I use it with an ESI MIDIMate II interface, and there is no perceptible latency at all. I've researched the MIDI controllers out there costing far, far more than this pedal, and they do not offer anything more than this does. Behringer is crushing the competition with this fantastic product.
