The Bescor X-672 is a 6 VDC battery specifically designed to work with the LED-60 light. It offers more run time than the X645 and comes with the BC-665R charger.

OK if you only need to shoot 20 mins
this takes 8+ hours to charge on DC
loses its charge in 25 mins of use
then,to make it worse,it does NOT hold
the charge. nobody has that kind of time
and its SUPER HEAVY...

I used this battery for a wedding video, it was great the first time but, after i charge it the firs time and use it for a second party it last no mere than 10 minutes,every time I charge it it last the same 10 minutes. I will NOT Recommend it to my worst enemy.

The batteries are a little expensive. I found the exact same battery at a local sporting goods store that is identical to the one that came with the light. USB 645 (6v 4.5a)= 12.00
A RCA jack and stranded wire from an electronic store, soldered to the terminals and you have a back up light battery!
I also picked up a M****** battery charger form a sporting goods store that charges 6v and 12v lead acid batteries, this charger has red, yellow and green LEDs to indicate the charge level of the battery, cut the alligator clips off and put a male RCA jack connection on it...your got a great charger!
All the parts are less than the cost of one battery Bescor sells.

You only get about an hour of use on a full charge, however I just switch my light off whenever its not in use and two batteries give me almost 5 hours of off and on coverage...

These batteries are much better than the X645. The X645 is like using a tired hamster in a cage to power your lights -- power doesn't last long.
However, this light system is a good first step when everything you need to buy costs beaucoup bucks.
