Marshall Electronics V-R43P 3 x 4" LCD Monitors in a Rack Mount
The Marshall V-R43P is a rack mountable unit that contains 3 4-inch LCD monitors. Each monitor is a rather high resolution 480 x 234 pixels and can be fed either NTSC or PAL signals independently. Additionally, each monitor has full picture controls, 2 composite inputs with loop-through outputs, and the inputs are self-terminating. If no signal is detected, the monitor will show a blue screen. The monitors can each be tally lit, making this unit perfect for a director's or producer's location.
- Resolution
- The V-R43P offers a high resolution of 480 x 234 pixels on three 4" LCD screens.
- EIA Compatible
- The ultra-compact measures only 2 rack units high and is designed to fit a standard EIA rack mount cabinet. Once mounted into a rack the V-R43P can tilt 90 degrees up or down for the best viewing angle or access to cabling.
- Brightness
- The V-R43P is designed is work optimally in almost any lighting condition. Each 4" LCD display offers an ultra bright 300 candle luminance.
- Inputs/Outputs
- Each screen offers two composite BNC video inputs with an active loop-through feature. The inputs are self-terminating. With no signal detected, the display will show a blue screen. Each monitor will automatically detect both NTSC and PAL signals independently. You may have a PAL signal right next to an NTSC program.
- Tally
- Three different color tally indicators are included above each LCD panel. Each panel offers a yellow, red and green tally.
- Dry Erase Marking Area
- Each panel can labeled for program or camera position. A DRY ERASE marker is included for this purpose.

Our high school uses this on three-camera and six-camera shoots for various sporting events, plays, band, choir, newscasts, etc. We have several and they all work well. Very durable, especially considering high schoolers are handling them. The only problem is they've more than doubled in price over the past two years

I use this product for corporate video. It fits my needs perfectly as a compact multi source monitor rack, but the cost is high. I debated whether to buy a cheaper product, but this one fit my needs so perfectly I decided to spend the extra money. Quality and build are very good as you would expect.
