I use a Epson R2400 to print on Velvet Fine Art paper for resale. I find this paper's unique characteristic of high bright white base to give me color clarity my clients like.
I find it's high D-Max (contrast and rich blacks) that makes the image pop, while at the same time not losing detail on my moody, subtlely lit images. It's weight and instatnt drying ability makes post printing handling much easier.

I use this paper with the piezography inks to print fine black and white images. I am very happy with the feel of the paper as well as the quality
of the resulting prints. Provides excellent contrast an dMax.

We use this for customer reproduction as well as in house for creating high quality postcards, bookmarks, and invitations. The weight, brightness and size are great for our needs and it fits great in our EPSON R2880 and works great in the EPSON 9900 as well. This is a staple that we always keep on hand.

has a great color gamut and deep black. a beautiful surface for fine art prints. only problem is the surface is incredibly delicate, must be stored or matted with great care.

I print on an Epson 2200. The Velvet gives me black and white prints with a large tonality range, and color prints have a 'painterly' feel. The paper surface is fragile, and must be handled with care.

This paper makes a simple photograph look as if it is a water color. The colors are bright and vibrant and surprisingly, despite the texture of the paper, no sharpness of the print is affected. Love the heaviness and feel of it. We are using this paper for most of our prints for a Photo show in a local Art gallery in the near future. Hope it generates great sales.

Very nice mid-priced paper for fine art prints. I like the deep matte blacks and richness of color, this looks better than the price level. The textured surface enhances some of the more impressionistic, abstract landscape images I printed. It is too textured for portraits, however.

I recently read a review of Velvet Fine Art by well known photographer Art Wolf. Where, he used a lot of adjectives to describe this paper. I too, would like to fill the page with a lot of adjectives but will instead just say that this is a wonderful paper for making B&W and Color fine art prints. The surface is a beautiful bright creamy white with a slightly textured surface.

I recently exhibited 15-13x19 color Fine Art Prints at a Baltimore gallery and convinced my co-exhibitor to use Velvet Fine Art as well. We have had very favorable comments about the prints from local and out of town visitors. They were using some of those adjectives that Art Wolf used to describe prints made with this paper.

As Nike says, "Just Do It." Make some prints for yourself and see how many adjectives will be used to describe your prints.

Everything I thought it would be. Beautiful texture, feels great in the hand, excellent color and deep blacks. Has worked well in my Epson 2400 right from the start. Great paper for the price.
