The Link Electronics MODEMOP2 is an internal modem for the PDE-890, PDA-895 and ENC-896 Closed Caption Encoder/Decoder equipment. A switch on the front panel labeled "TEST" places a test message on line 21 to confirm proper operation of the encoder. This external modem and computer can be connected to the PDE-890, PDA-895 and ENC-896 closed caption encoder/decoder Equipment to send and receive local and remote caption data.
