The PSR-821 Remote Control Panel for LINK 800 Series Video and Audio Switchers from Link Electronics is a panel that allows you to remotely control and monitor LINK 800 Series Video and Audio Switchers. It is an 8x2 controller that features an RS-232 serial port to allow interface with a computer. Communications with the switcher is handled via an RS-485 compatible serial link and an RJ-11 modular jack.
The combination of this panel with the switcher allows for communication distances of up to 1,000'. Active video and audio channels are indicated by a pair of seven-segment displays. This unit is mounted in a 1U chassis and features a reduced depth to accommodate placement on a table or desktop.
