Kodak E100G 120 Ektachrome Professional Color Slide (Transparency) Film (ISO-100) USA
Kodak Professional Ektachrome E100G and E100GX are Kodak's replacements for E100S and E100SW. With E100G and E100GX, Kodak delivers extremely fine grain (rms 8), a lower D-min for whiter, brighter whites, and an improved tone scale. These films offer advancements in Kodak's Color Amplifying Technology and that were not found in the E100s/E100SW and allow you to capture light more efficiently.
In addition Kodak T-Grain Emulsion Ektachrome E100G Film offers moderately enhanced color saturation with a neutral color balance. Ektachrome 100GX film also features moderately enhanced color saturation, but with a warm balance (the "X" is for warm).
Both films produce exceptional results for advertising, fashion, editorial, architecture, nature/wildlife, and other commercial applications. These films are designed for exposure with daylight or electronic flash.

| Push/Pull | You can increase the effective speed (i.e., push) of E100G and E100GX films by adjusting the first developer time. Increased film speed is useful under dim lighting conditions, or when you need high shutter speeds to stop action or small lens openings for increased depth of field. You can also use a short push to slightly increase contrast, sharpen highlights, or compensate for underexposure. A recommended starting point for E100G or E100GX Films is to underexpose by 1 stop (EI 200) for a push 1 process (8 minutes in the first developer). |

Using this film with a Mamiya 7 in the deep darkness of a city at night, for 5 to 15 minute exposures... The color balance is perfect, not too cool, not to warm, totally vivid without looking at all artificially saturated. Incredible detail also thanks to the fine fine grain. My Canon 1D Mark IV cannot dream of matching this quality and "resolution". Also using E100G in 35mm format and results are of course superb there as well.

i used it for urban and city landscapes and for complex color representation cases. has very neutral color representation and balance close to original. that is very good for scanning and further adjusting of the image. would be better to have higher ISO than 100.

I have always liked the warm positive films from Kodak, like the Echtachrome 64X and the E100GX. As the E100GX no longer was available I ordered E100G. What I really like with Kodak is that I want the film to render the image as I saw it rather than exaggerate (saturate). I also think that European skin tones looks nicer with Kodak film, rather than Fuji which adds to much magenta for my taste.

I used this product during a protest. It was super bright out but I was able to capture my subjects perfectly. The lighting wasn't too harsh, the grain was perfect and the prints came out great! the only issue i had with it was trouble loading it . This film is perfect for cross processing! I loved it and going to continue buying it .
