This clamp pod comes with one flex arm with a mini ball-head mounted on the clamp. It has two 1/4-20" screws on the clamp, and with a second flex arm connected this clamp can be used for a mini-light set-up, or for a multitude of other uses. The clamp is perfect for mounting onto a car window, or any other surface as thick as 2", or as thin as a couple of mm's.

I purchased this product in order to use on my kayak. The product description certainly doesn't suggest this as a possible use, so no fault to the product manufacturer or dealer. The clamp is very strong, but it just didn't quite work on my boat - it kept slipping off (again, no fault of the product). The "worst" thing is that after my test trip, the product was completely rusted. I guess it's not made to get wet (or maybe it was the salt water that did it in). Oh, well, on to Plan B...

Comments about Sunpak Clamp Pod PRO:
This clamp is super sturdy, I used it with a Rosco 3x6 Litepad and this thing was gripping it like it was in a chokehold. Top and bottom bits between the snake neck are unscrewable and you can screw the snake neck to the front of back part of the clamp. While the neck is very stiff, it isn't hard to move and just feels very solid. The clamp itself has rubber on the grips so it won't damage anything it's holding on to.
One minor annoyance is trying to rotate the neck often results in either the top or bottom of the neck unscrewing, but getting it rotated and screwed back on isn't an issue. Overall - simple execution and great quality.

We used the clamps to attach a go-pro to a toy airplane we rigged with a live dog inside. The dog was flying through the air on a cable system, and the clamp pod pro allowed for us to catch the perspective from the front of the plane.
It's great because it can clamp onto anything.

My idea was to attach my Canon Vixia to my tripod, as a wide shot backup to my Canon GL-2. I found the clamp to be a little weak for that. It would be perfect for a Flip or Kodak Zi8 camera.
If, like me, you like to take things apart and combine them with other gadgets to make your own thing, the goose neck and adjustable mini ball head are pretty handy, and worth the price.

Comments about Sunpak Clamp Pod PRO:
This clamp is a very good thing for the price. I do lots of macro photography, and I have a custom made mount which 2 flex arms screw onto a base plate and attach to my camera. Since it is short it is not intricately flexible enough for every single position I've needed while attached to the camera, but for off camera lighting this thing is simply fantastic! I recommend this for small flash units. Heavy ones may not hold well.

Comments about Sunpak Clamp Pod PRO:
I puchased this clamp (two clamps to be more accurate) to support speedlights while shooting flowers, insects and other small creatures.
I like it has both removable flexible goose neck and ball head. Two types of removable gripper pads is good idea either.
Clamp itself made by plastic, but it looks rather solid. After all it is not intended to support camera with telephoto lens.

Comments about Sunpak Clamp Pod PRO:
A clamp is useless unless it has good grip and strong action. This has both. The clamp is very firm and sure, but has a wide enough grip surface that it won;t crush or damage what it's attached to.
The two screw points are useful. Great product.
