I am using this for a demonstration stand and needed essentially a tripod that would hold a good amount of weight. I added 2 double-superclamps and voila - a demo board holder!

Comments about Fender ST-275 - Speaker Stand Kit with Carrying Case - Pair:
In using the original product stands a few times a month for over a year, a replacement had to be ordered. The carrying case had torn significantly at the handles. The biggest issue was that on one of the stands the part that allows the stand to remain in the raised position broke. Unfortunately, this is not surprising in a flimsy aluminum and plastic structure. Let's hope the replacement stands hold up to the demands.

Comments about Fender ST-275 - Speaker Stand Kit with Carrying Case - Pair:
We use this in combination with a Fender amp system.
Easy to collapse and set up. Nice carrying bag.
These don't look like they'll take much abuse. Hopefully they will be durable.

Comments about Fender ST-275 - Speaker Stand Kit with Carrying Case - Pair:
I use these stands for the Fender Passport PD-150. I find that the base of these stands are too wide. The Fender speakers are very light and do not need the wide base these stands create when trying to get the maximum height for the speakers. It makes things awkward to position and is quite a challenge to set up when space is limited. There are stands out here with a much smaller footprint that work just as well. The price is right however and if you can deal with the wide base it may be right for you. This stand may be better utilized for speakers that are larger and heavier than the fender passport series pa systems.
