Broad lights utilize long, double-ended lamps, and V-reflectors to throw raw, somewhat hard light which is ideal for backgrounds or inside diffusion sources. Other uses include copyboard lighting for animation, front-fill light and multiple overhead units for base or top light. The fixture uses lamps (purchased separately) up to 1500 watts.
