The Lumedyne Ultra Megacycler generates the high voltage necessary to recycle most shoe or handle mount flashes very quickly and produce hundreds of full power flashes per charge.

Cables for connection to the Ultra Megacycler are available separately for many shoe and handle mount flashes on the market today.

Cyclers are compatible with Lumedyne and Paramount HV Cables or Quantum high voltage cables for their Turbo/(Z).
Computerized flashes still use the internal AA batteries to power the internal computer, LCD screen and power reflector but the Cycler does most of the hard work (recycling the flash) so the AA's will last much longer.
Choose a Trickle or Quick Charger from Lumedyne if you don't already own one. The Cyclers charge with the same Chargers that fit the rest of the Lumedyne System (excluding the #CU1U or #018 Ultra Charger that only fits modular batteries)

Comments about Lumedyne HV Ultra Megacycler for Flashes - Extra Fast:

Nothing is worse than having a photo job and looking at the battery indicator showing low and the bride is walking in the door. What can I say!
Alkaline batteries good, rechargable batteries Better, external power supply BEST.
I use the lumedyne pack to help power a Nikon SB-900 fired remotely or on the camera. It allows for faster recycle time well beyond the capability of the flash unit's 4 batteries.

P.S. Remember, you get what you pay for. Price is a factor but when your flash unit will not fire because of low batteries, the excuses pale to a bride's response when she realizes you did not get a critical Photo on her very important event!

Comments about Lumedyne HV Ultra Megacycler for Flashes - Extra Fast:

At last I have found a product that keeps my flash firing all night and saving the environment from all those batteries I seemed to have collected. Never had much luck with rechargeable batteries as there is always one that seems to upset the system!
