Kodak Professional Ektachrome E100G and E100GX are Kodak's replacements for E100S and E100SW. With E100G and E100GX, Kodak delivers extremely fine grain (rms 8), a lower D-min for whiter, brighter whites, and an improved tone scale. These films offer advancements in Kodak's Color Amplifying Technology and that were not found in the E100s/E100SW and allow you to capture light more efficiently.
In addition Kodak T-Grain Emulsion Ektachrome E100G Film offers moderately enhanced color saturation with a neutral color balance. Ektachrome 100GX film also features moderately enhanced color saturation, but with a warm balance (the "X" is for warm).
Both films produce exceptional results for advertising, fashion, editorial, architecture, nature/wildlife, and other commercial applications. These films are designed for exposure with daylight or electronic flash.

| Push/Pull | You can increase the effective speed (i.e., push) of E100G and E100GX films by adjusting the first developer time; Increased film speed is useful under dim lighting conditions, or when you need high shutter speeds to stop action or small lens openings for increased depth of field; You can also use a short push to slightly increase contrast, sharpen highlights, or compensate for underexposure; A recommended starting point for E100G or E100GX Films is to underexpose by 1 stop (EI 200) for a push 1 process (8 minutes in the first developer) |

This is a great Kodak slide film in a post-Kodachrome world. The 100 ASA and fine grain ensure sharp, accurate images that have that "Kodak" look to them. Definitely worth trying to see for yourself

We are documenting a shipwreck for a museum exhibit. My film images are blowing away digital shots done by other divers. This film reproduces colors and detail unlike any other film I have used. I'm scanning great images in the 15 to 20 meg range with very little grain.

Comments about Kodak E100G 135-36 Ektachrome Professional Color Slide Film (ISO-100):
I am in love with this film! It's such a wonderful film if you want to have amazing cross-processed results. I shoot this film almost-exclusively in my Lomo LC-A, and it always delivers incredible contrasts, rich colors, and just-enough-grain when cross-processed. I've never processed it as an E-6 film, but I am sure it is beautiful. I love this film!

Comments about Kodak E100G 135-36 Ektachrome Professional Color Slide Film (ISO-100):
E100G used for fine art reproduction. Good match to 4x5 E 100 G film. Found that E100 G is an excellent film to scan, seems not to block up dense colors and holds highlights. Holds color balance, and film speed month to month.
