The Marshall V-1214-IR is a black and white industrial video camera for applications where there is little of no ambient lighting. The unit comes with a 3.6mm f/2.0 lens. It has a infrared illumination feature that makes capturing good quality video images possible in total darkness up to 15 feet. It is built into an all-weather housing. The camera requires a 12-volt power supply. The suggested V-PS12 is sold separately.
- Video Without Light
- Around the permanently installed 3.6mm f/2 lens is a set of diodes that cast infrared beams that are invisible to the human eye but can be detected by the black and white camera. The infrared signals illuminate the scene up to about 15 feet from the lens making video capture in total darkness possible.
- Weather-Proof Construction
- The V-1214-IR is housed in a weatherproof enclosure for mounting outdoors. An extra level of protection is available in the form of a metal hood that will keep dripping moisture off the lens-end of the camera. The hood (V-1214-IR-HOOD) is optional and sold separately.
- Ready for Connecting
- The camera comes complete with a 60-foot weatherproof cable that has a BNC connector for composite video and a coaxial connector for power. The built-in lens is a 3.6mm f/2 that results in a 63-degree horizontal field of vision and a 53-degree vertical field of vision. Other lenses are not applicable.
