THIS PRODUCT PERFORMS REALLY WELL. AND IT IS IDEAL FOR INSTANT PRINTS ON LOCATION, WITHOUT HAVING TO HAUL PRINTERS AROUND WITH YOU. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE GOOD OLE DAYS WHEN YOU ONLY NEEDED YOUR CAMERA.

This product is usded to make kode-a-kid identification cards for parents of young children. It is a great product but unfortunately it has been discontinued and all that is availble is all that is left until it is sold out.

Comments about Polaroid 690 Polacolor Pro 3.25 x 4.25" Instant Film:
I use this film in a Holgaroid. It develops at a decent speed, about 2 minutes around 68-70 degrees. The only thing I don't like about it is that it dries curled up a little. The Fujifilm equivalent dries nice and flat. Buy some before it's gone for good and press it between some heavy books. I reccomend using a flash, even outdoors (with a Holgaroid anyway) as 100 speed film is very, very needy of light. It does produce a nice crisp image with beautiful tonal transitions.

Great polaroid film look without the need of a yellow filter. Perfect companion to a Holga Instant Film Back or a Polaroid pinhole camera.

Polaroid 690 is an excellent film. We never have problems with streaks or defectives. It's a terrible shame Polaroid is discontinuing the product.

Comments about Polaroid 690 Polacolor Pro 3.25 x 4.25" Instant Film:
I purchased 690 to use primarily for a series of image transfers. The good news is the speed and color rendition of the film when used normally is great. For image transfers however, the film is unsuitable. Transfers produced a horrible yellow color cast that cannot be eliminated. The film simply is not designed the same way as the ER 669 which is a much better film for image transfer work.
