Comments about BoomMate BPH Microphone Boom Pole Holder:
Bought this to shoot interviews for documentaries when working alone. Easy to set up. Will need a grip head and counter balancing weight to get perfect balance. In a controlled environment, I feel I can get the job done without any hassles now.

Comments about BoomMate BPH Microphone Boom Pole Holder:
It doesn't get tired. It doesn't need smoking breaks. It doesn't complain about how early call time was. it takes the place of person who would normally hold a boom pole perfectly!

Comments about BoomMate BPH Microphone Boom Pole Holder:
It works great and I needed it, they know it so they can charge whatever they want for it. Just seems that at something like [$], they would still be making a killing, but good for them I guess. We do live in a capitalistic society!

Comments about BoomMate BPH Microphone Boom Pole Holder:
This was a great idea, inexpensive and perfect for using when you do not have a grip around to hold microphone. Combining this with a simple light pole and you got yourself a perfect over the head microphone system without having to pay someone to do it.

Comments about BoomMate BPH Microphone Boom Pole Holder:
After a few shoots holding the pole & mike assembly,
I was hoping for a more stable alternative-This is IT! Working in tandem with a mike stand I previously had, it was an ideal accessory, and allowed for more
consistent sound-WITHOUT the shaky arm disadvantage!

Comments about BoomMate BPH Microphone Boom Pole Holder:
I must agree, this product is very handy for interview situations. It is MUCH easier to have a boom set up before your "talent" gets to the shoot, and at the same time it is far less invasive than running a Lav up someone's shirt who you've never met! Not a good first impression to be making on people! Oh, AND you don't have to pay someone to hold a boom pole for hours on end. Buy this thing ONCE for the same price that you would hire a boom operator for a DAY, and this thing just paid for itself!!!
