I purchased these headphones as a present for one of my teenage sons for iPod Touch listening. He is very, very satisfied. I tested them last night on my iPod Touch. I listened to classical, jazz and rock. I pushed the volume to the iPod's max. I found the response to be very good at all volume levels and in all frequency ranges including the bass with little discernible distortion. They are light weight and comfortable to wear with hear through design. The phones do not have a pot on them so they may not be great for use with the new genration of Ipod Shuffle. In long term use, my experpience has been that volume controls are often the source of trouble, so that is not necessarily a bad feature. The plug on the cord is the only one I have found which will fit through the hole in my iPod's 'after market' protective cover so I do not have to take the bottom portion of the cover off to use the headphones. I may get a pair for myself.

I've been using these headphones for six years and have had three sets. Considering I put them through tremendous abuse, they last a very long time. The sound quality is excellent and the folding design is extremely convenient.

I use them for gaming, music, audio books and audio editing. Can't find any cons. The problem was my habbit of wrapping the cord too tightly around the case--the wires gradually tore from the speakers (obviously!)

The headphones have been redesigned since my last pair and seem to be even more durable now. Guess I'll find out in three years.

These are good headphones in terms of audio quality but they are poorly built,mine just broke and I have to buy another set.

Very comfortable even when used with ipod for running. Med range could be a little more defined, but still a good pair of headphones for everyday use.

Excellent quality sound for a very reasonable price. These headphones fold up and would fit in your pocket or breafcase with ease. Looked at the expensive headphones. The slight diff in quality doesn't justify the extra cost.

The sound quality - particularly the bass - is surprising, given the small size and open-air design. They're really comfortable, too. The folding process and the case are a little fussy, but the construction seems solid enough to take the strain of repeated folding and unfolding.

I wear these during my commute and all day at work. They are very comfortable. I like that they collapse into their own case so I can fit them easily into all of my bags. I think it helps with the longevity of the product. This is my 3rd set though and the plug looks a little cheaper on this latest set.

I bought these as a birthday present for my daughter to use with her iPod and all I can say is they are amazing for the price. Right out of the packaging they sounded great, but, and this is important, like any good speaker they benefit from being broken-in. After having music played through them contiuously for 12+ hours, these headphones really started to come into their own - highs became more prominent while remaining "relaxed" sounding and all parts of the spectrum started to sound more natural, not forced or "canned" with well-defined mids & bass. It will be interesting to see how much more the sound improves with continued use but as of now they are great.

For the money you can't go wrong with the PX100s and I know you could do much worse. I can't talk about their durability because they are so new but I imagine with careful use they should last a while. The fact that they fold-up and fit in a case the size of an eyeglass case make these even more attractive for use on the go.

I can guarantee you I will buying another pair for myself soon.

BTW, for all you iPod users, try the rock EQ with these - SOUNDS GREAT!!

Outstandingly rich sound and good bass response for the size and price. Really surprising when putting on for the first time - "can such phones really sound this big?!" Yes, they can!
The ony thing is, they are open-type, so everyone hears your music, which can restrict the use of phones in public places.

Every amazingly composed vibration will pleasure your ear, leading into a healthy session of head banging(or nodding). Even With Lower quality music your in for a treat.Dvds? Wow. Maybe Sennheiser found a way to fit a theater's entire sound system into a pair [$] phones. The way the bass and little subtle sounds hit you, its like watching a different movie compared to everything before it.These Things will get you noticed, too. These phones rock. They are unusually compact considering they are NOT your normally fit in the ear and cause an earache type phone. Kool case too, although you need an Associates Engineering degree to understand the first time how to remove them from the case. Then, when you need to pet them back, it's another learning process. The sound is really good for an open type phone. If you have a lot of outside noise, the noise-canceling phones would work better.

Lightweight, can use for long periods. Great sounding moderate priced headphones. Good all around sound production. Nice highs, mids, and bass.
I think it's very well rounded for the price. Recommend for Ipods, mp3 players.
