Comments about Kodak HC-110 Developer (Liquid) for Black & White Film:
The only reason I'm giving 4/5 is because I haven't used it often enough to really get behind it. What I have developed though has been great. Very easy to mix, use, and store. I use it on a roll to roll basis, so I only make what I need when I need it. So far I'm really impressed with the quality for the price.

Comments about Kodak HC-110 Developer (Liquid) for Black & White Film:
The developer with the longest shelf life. Works great on most films. I think it's the absolute best developer to use on Neopan Acros 100. I do NOT recommend it for pushing, or for processing superfast films like Neopan 1600. Keep as a concentrate and mix only as much as you need at a time. It won't go bad. I recommend 1+63 (H dilution). This bottle can process a lot of film.

I use this a lot with Tri-X and other B&W film. It is consistent and does a great job.

Comments about Kodak HC-110 Developer (Liquid) for Black & White Film:
It's a pretty standard B&W developer. The best thing about it is that it lasts a very long time when undiluted, so if you only do film once in a while you don't have to worry about your developer going bad.
The only bad thing i can think of about it is that it's hard to get the last bits out of the bottle because it's a very thick fluid.

Comments about Kodak HC-110 Developer (Liquid) for Black & White Film:
HC-110 makes beautiful negatives with my Tri-X, it's inexpensive, it's long-lasting, it's what Ansel Adams used, so you know it must be good!

Comments about Kodak HC-110 Developer (Liquid) for Black & White Film:
This developer works well, is simple to mix, lasts forever, and is economical. In addition it has high accutance. Especially good if you process a small amount of film at a time. Less toxic than many developers. This bottle can do 50 rolls of 120 film.

Comments about Kodak HC-110 Developer (Liquid) for Black & White Film:
I use this for all developing at home. I like the consistent results I get. I shoot whatever film i can get, and so far with Neopan ACROS and 1600, Tri-X and Delta 400 I have had acceptable results. Long shelf life a plus, I don't develop that often.
Can't think of any downside, it simply works.

Comments about Kodak HC-110 Developer (Liquid) for Black & White Film:
Wonderful Developer. Note that Kodak's development times for HC-110 dilution B is incorrect in their documentation: it's too short and will give you bad negs.
I've used 6 minutes 15 seconds at 68 degrees with good results however, I'm still experimenting with the ideal development time.

Although you have to go online to kodak website for instructions, its pretty easy and straight forward to use. Just remember to read the * instructions as well.
I never had any darkroom experience or classes and just went by directions alone and tada! Negatives! Will be using it again

Comments about Kodak HC-110 Developer (Liquid) for Black & White Film:
I used this developer in a home darkroom, and it works even better than expected. I have been using it for three weeks, and haven't needed to change it yet. My only complaint is that they do not list developer time on the bottle and I had to look it up on the internet, but it worked out just fine.

Comments about Kodak HC-110 Developer (Liquid) for Black & White Film:
I am a fine art photographer and shoot in 4X5 and 8X10 formats. I shoot a lot of film and it's very time consuming to develop all that film in large format. I tried many developers and have settled on HC-110. It's a fast high energy developer and I can develop a tankful in 5 minutes. At the same time, it gives good contrast, good detail in the highlights and shadows, just a good all around developer that's easy to mix, easy to use, and is considered foolproof. I highly recommend it.

Comments about Kodak HC-110 Developer (Liquid) for Black & White Film:
I started using this developer with 4x5" sheet film. It works well with TXP 320, however, I'm finding it's even better with 120 Tmax 100. I find it better than D76, because it comes in a liquid, not a powder. It's also a lot cleaner.

Comments about Kodak HC-110 Developer (Liquid) for Black & White Film:
I switched to HC 110 after years of using premixed and powder D-76. I wish I had switched three years ago.
Super easy to mix up as needed. Someone above suggested it as messy. I find it neat and clean, and easy to measure just what I need.
I got a couple dark glass 4oz storage bottles for unused concentrate after opening the larger bottle and shelf life is very stable.
My film results are much better also in both Dil B and H than I was getting with D-76 with FP-4 and Acros especially, but very satisfied across the board. I simply use a clean clear plastic 35mm film canister which holds an ounce and mix in a quart of water for small batch Dil B, and use a half ounce for Dil H. No mess, minimal mixing, and I can't be happier.

Comments about Kodak HC-110 Developer (Liquid) for Black & White Film:
I started using this product on recommendation by my photography instructor as I was traveling and needed something compact to develop film along the way. While I use other developers, I keep coming back to the HC-110. It is easy to use and mix and serves me well in both replenished and non-replenished systems. It also works great for me when I need to push film during developing.
