This light weight, stable tripod is very versatile. I have use this for camera, off camera flash and mounting a portable recorder.
Nothing negative about the tripod except when I purchased the Bogen 3007X extension the screw is larger than the 1/4" for my products. I will need to find an adaptor, hope they are available

One of my favorite photographic hobbies is food photography, but if you're doing it on an amateur basis, it can be hard, since the lighting in most restaurants is poor, and a real tripod can be troublesome and subtract from the dining experience.
A few years ago I bought this mini-tripod for my father, and I found borrowing it that it was the perfect solution to the food photography problem. It's small, discreet, but sturdy enough to hold up my EOS10D with 17-40 f/4 lens (I've had several other mini-tripods that can't handle this combo).
It's no substitute for a full tripod, but it's one of the best mini-tripods I've ever used.

I've had this tripod for over 7 years now and it still performs perfectly! I work for the government and my job which requires a lot of traveling. Long story short, this tripod is a "been there done that" tripod. I've loaned this tripod to a couple of major news network cameramen to hold their massive cameras when their tripods weren't available. First response is "I've got to get me on of these!"
