I absolutely adore this product. Thank goodness it's available. I have no idea why Polaroid thought it would be a good thing to close their doors...Fuji is smart to stay in the game...too, it would be nice if Fuji would produce a film similar to Polaroid 665. What that is, is that you get the instant image, but you have a NEGATIVE attached as well. This enables you to scan, print, etc.

I loved Polaroid 667. It really utilized that tiny "3000" aperture to capture every detail in a photo with minimal grain, regardless of perfect focusing. A few years ago, I would blow so much money and have so much fun playing around with 667 and Fuji FP-100c, with great photos to show for it. However, now all we have for detailed black and white is FP-3000B. This film is surprisingly contrasty. Highlights are blown out and shadows are black. There is very little latitude in between. Reminds me of the '20s horror film, "Nosferatu".

This is my first foray into instant film; I used this in a Hasselblad 100 back. I love it! It is extremely responsive in mid- to low-light situations, and it's quite difficult to mess up the developing (that is, the waiting and pulling). Gives a very usable negative image on the peel-away cover that could easily be scanned. However, if you remove this too early (in my case, 10 s in a cold room), the blacks in the photo don't develop entirely (bluish) and the negative will solarize a bit. You can definitely afford to wait toward the long side of timing for this film to ensure good contrast.
I have had no problems with tabs breaking or otherwise getting the film out.
My only regret is that the Hasselblad leaves so much of the useable surface of the film unexposed! To that end, I'm considering buying a cheap 4x5 camera to really take advantage of the entire emulsion.

I can't say I use it that much but i really like it. In my Polaroïd 600SE, it gives me nice, crisp images. And, with a little bleach, a really great negative.Fuji does a great job with its instant film.

I was happy when I discovered that I was able to use this Fujifilm instant black & white film in my vintage Polaroid Colorpack 2 camera. No longer will it be sitting in my closet. Not only does the film work great, it is reasonably priced compared to other instant film products. I will buy and use again - and the color version too!!!

After trying out the Fuji FP-300C (color) and really liking it, I decided to try this black and white film. I love it! It took a few tries with the FP-100C to get my Polaroid 360's settings just right because the camera's speed setting for color is 75 and the new color film is 100 speed. This film is 3000 speed and the Polaroid Land cameras already have a 3000 speed setting for black and white film. I just put my film in, set the film speed to 3000 and started taking great photographs. Every picture has turned out perfect! The photos look classic and artistic with excellent black and white contrast and the famous Polaroid white border. I think the best thing about this film is the ability to shoot pictures indoors without flash, which you can't really do with the color film. If there is enough light in the room to read comfortably you can take amazing pictures without flash with this film. To me, this alone makes the Fuji FP-3000B the best instant film for the classic Polaroid Land cameras!

I got it to be able to shoot indoors without flash. At the time I bought it the price was reduced cause it was soon to expire but it has worked like a charm. I'll buy more as soon as I run out.

It does produce beautiful b&w images but has too much contrast for my taste. Because of that, exposure needs to be spot on. That being said it is one of the two instant peel apart films left, the other being Fuji's colour FP100C. Keep buying so they keep producing people!

I've recently been using this packfilm for taking night shots of illuminated buildings. I love the fact that I get solid black to solid white, with really smooth greys in between. Its speed also allows you to shoot handheld and still produce a sharp image. Self-terminating developers mean you don't have to keep a thermometer, timer, and peel at just the right moment. You can pull the image from the camera, put it in a pocket, and leave it there until later. Very good film, and highly recommended.

This film is fantastic! The fast developing time is great to have but I was adding extra time (sometimes as much as double, sometimes as little as 5 seconds) to boost the saturation.

I've made a pinhole camera to use the instant film in. I built the camera to use Fujifilm FP-100B in originally, but because that film was discontinued I have given the Fujifilm FP3000B a try. With 2 four stop sepia filters stacked behind the pinhole I hoped to reduce the film to a usable speed in the daylight . My first few tries worked fantastically, but the last dozen have given me lightleaking issues. If I cannot solve this issue soon, I'll be left to use the Fujifilm FP-100C product alone which has horrible reciprocity for my long exposures.

I started using this film after the FP-100B was discontinued. With a few sepia filters next to the pinhole I again have useful film.
