Comments about Fujifilm RAP 220 Fujichrome Astia 100-F:
I know a lot of people didn't like this film. I didn't like it at first, until I realized what it's best for. It's not highly saturated like typical slide film. In fact, the colors look more like typical negative film. But it still has the high contrast of slide film, and it actually works almost the same as Provia, just with softer and more accurate colors. In fact, Astia has just about the most accurate color reproduction I've ever seen in a film, with the only exception being that it may make yellowish greens appear a little less green. Basically, that means you can pretty much use it in place of negative film and get the same results, only with better contrast, making it great for portraits.

Wonderful skin tones, not too contrasty. Colors are accurate; don't look exaggerated or artificial.
