Fujichrome Astia 100F Professional (RAP100F) is an ISO 100 daylight-type color reversal film for professional use. This film boasts smooth and natural skin tone reproduction from the highlights to the shadows and exceptionally fine grain of RMS*granularity 7. These characteristics provide the film with one of the world's highest levels of color fidelity.

Excellent film for portrait photography.
I use this film with tungsten lights with blue gells and it comes back with a perfect colour balance. Nice warm skin tones. Slightly magenta. Lovely fine grain.

Despite that digital technology has taken over analog film, I still shoot with my large format camera. The Fujichrome 100-F is in my opinion the best positive transparency film available on the market for portrait. It renders the skin colors like no other film. I use it most for outdoor portrait. I develop all films in my own lab, processing them with Tetenal E6 with amazing results. I use those types of high resolution portraits for fine art prints.
