I use this portfolio to display my larger, 12x18 prints, which are a challenge to store and carry around. This portfolio is well priced, attractive and makes it easy to protect and transport the photos. Plastic viewing pages with black backgrounds also makes it easy to show the photos.

I bought this to store and transport my 13x19 prints. It's affordable and decent quality for the price. However, I wouldn't use it if I were presenting my prints for any sort of major sale.

It comes down to that. Nothing fancy or
attractive about this product -- but it works.
The sleeves are not crystal clear as in some
other portfolios (also available from Itoya)
which is both a plus and negative. Yes, the
textured surface of the sleeve reduces the
impact of the print, but it also doesn't
reflect the ambient light. On prints this
big, it's annoying seeing every room light
reflected if the sleeve is glossy -- and
you can always pull the print out of the sleeve (much easier with a textured sleeve than with
a glossy one). The crystal clear sleeves work
better with small sizes prints -- but still are too reflective for my taste.
Another advantage is that the sleeves are more
robust and don't show dings or fingerprints;
though the book comes with 24 sleeves (48 prints),
the sizing is generous enough to put additional
prints in each sleeve which is great if this
is used for storage. If I were only going to fill it withonly the 48 prints, I'd get a rigid sleeve to slide
the whole book into to keep it closed and looking like a bound/boxed portfolio.
If you're looking for a low priced, well
thought out way to store and display, this is
the way to go.
